Our Story

35 years of experience.
A new mission.

Founded by FΓ‘bio AraΓΊjo, a Chemical Engineer with an international career, Kakama Wera starts from where others take decades to reach.

The Name

Kakama Wera:
where nature's language meets engineering

In Māori, the language of New Zealand's indigenous people β€” a nation globally recognized for balancing development with environmental preservation β€” kakama means fast, agile; and wera means heat, thermal energy.

Together, the words form an expression that can be translated as Thermal Efficiency: exactly what we do.

"A name that carries in itself what we promise to deliver: heat managed with agility, energy used with wisdom."

New Zealand is a global symbol of environmental respect and the intelligent use of natural resources. By adopting a word from its native language, Kakama Wera declares its commitment from its very name: generating results for industry without giving up responsibility to the planet.

The Origin

35 years of history, and a new mission

Kakama Wera was born from a rare career path in the market: 35 years dedicated to industrial water treatment, working as a Latin America consultant for one of the most relevant companies in the global sector. Along that journey, industries were served in countries ranging from Brazil to the Caribbean.

Every project, a lesson learned; every operational challenge overcome, one more layer of accumulated knowledge.

"Kakama Wera doesn't start from zero. It starts from where others take decades to reach."

The company represents the union of field experience and technical knowledge.

The Problem We Solve

Wasted water is wasted energy

In industrial steam generation and cooling systems, the invisible enemy has well-known names: scaling, deposition, corrosion and microbiology. These are silent phenomena that settle into piping, cooling towers and boilers, consuming extra energy, deteriorating equipment and increasing water consumption.

The lack of good treatment practices is not just a technical problem. It's a financial, environmental and safety problem. Every drop of improperly treated water represents wasted energy, unnecessary emissions and pressure on water resources.

We solve what few can bring together:

β†’Efficiency in steam generation systems
β†’Optimization of cooling systems
β†’Primary industrial water treatment
β†’Reduced energy and water consumption with a positive environmental impact
Identity

Mission, Vision and Values

Mission

To provide specialized technical consulting in industrial water treatment, generating real value for our clients through precise diagnostics, efficient solutions and knowledge transfer, with independence, ethics and a commitment to results.

Vision

To be recognized as one of the leading consultancies in industrial water systems in Brazil, through technical excellence, the trust earned from clients, and the ability to turn operational challenges into competitive advantages.

Technical Independence

Every recommendation starts from technical analysis of the problem, not from predefined solutions. The depth of the diagnosis ensures the most suitable solution for that plant, at that moment.

Scientific Rigor

Every diagnosis grounded in laboratory analysis, operational data and current technical standards.

Transparency

Reports and technical opinions written in clear language, with no ambiguity or omissions.

Commitment to Results

We measure our success by our clients' own indicators: lower costs, greater availability and productivity.

Professional Ethics

Absolute confidentiality of each client's operational and strategic information, across every project.

Track Record

The scale that
makes the difference

Numbers that give context to 35 years of technical field experience in industrial water treatment.

Brazil

  • 20+ steel mills (nearly the entire industry)
  • 10+ pulp and paper mills
  • 4 aluminum plants
  • Ore processing industries and other segments

Latin America and USA

  • Argentina: 4 steel mills
  • Chile: steel mill and copper mines
  • Mexico: 4 steel mills
  • Trinidad and Tobago: steel mill and ammonia plant
  • Venezuela: paper plant
  • Colombia: base industries
  • USA: technical visits

The vast majority of plants were served more than once, resulting in ongoing diagnosis, optimization and training projects.

Manifesto

What We Believe

β†’We believe poorly treated water is money thrown away and the environment harmed.
β†’We believe decades of experience are worth more than any manual.
β†’We believe energy efficiency and environmental care are not opposites: they are partners.
β†’We believe the best consulting is the kind that solves the problem and educates the people inside the plant.

This is why we exist. This is why we are Kakama Wera.

Shall we work together?
